PLANNING

Preparing for The Passion Project

Once you have decided that The Passion Project is for you, there are a number of preparations that need to be made.  This is going to be a significant amount of work as you decide why you are doing this, how it will look, how you will educate your community, as well as the logistics of scheduling and community involvement.

Detailed information on this phase of The Passion Project is included in the drop down tab 'Phase One' under the Planning page.

During The Passion Project

During The Passion Project, you will be busier than ever!  But in a really great way.  As students explore their passions, you will be observing their progress and their discoveries and supporting these through the timely delivery of tools, resources, ideas, and sources of information that they may find useful.

A list of  websites and apps that may help with this phase, are included in the drop down tabs 'Websites1' and 'Websites2' under the Planning page.  PDF resources are available under the tab 'Resources'.

Reflecting on The Passion Project

This part of The Passion Project will be key to its ongoing success and evolution. It will never be perfect and in fact, that is not the goal. The goal is to make sure that a valuable educational experience is had for all members of the community.  We reflected on our Project as a community via a survey and the results were shared with ideas for how we can move forward next year. This will, of course, look different for each school, but will be an incredibly valuable component in the growth of your Passion Project.

Detailed information on our reflective process is included in the drop down tab 'Reflection' under the Planning page.
