HOW?

How?

The Passion Project is successful when:

  • everyone 'buys in' to the philosophy that learning occurs in community
  • students have a voice and are given time to explore their passions
  • the focus is on the learning journey, the process of creativity through passion
  • schedules are flexible and allow for changes
  • learning occurs outside and inside the classroom
  • student are equipped with the skills they need, when they need them
  • communication between school and families is open and honest
  • failures are embraced as a step closer to success
  • learning looks different for individuals within a class
  • the opportunity for a 'fresh start' is always available
